Geneva
Geneva is found in Kane County, between St. Charles and Batavia and is additionally the home to the County Courthouse. Known for its historical architecture, unique stores, restaurants, and scenic views, Geneva is a beautiful destination sitting on the Fox River. First settled in the 1830s by Daniel Shaw Haight and then actually incorporated as a village in 1867. The Geneva Community School District 304 serves the area and is comprised of one high school, two middle schools and six elementary schools. Geneva Commons along Randall Road provides a bustling shopping option and the downtown historic district offers numerous dining and independent retail shops and boutiques to its venues. The town has a number of recreational spaces that include Fabyan Forest Preserve and also the Fox River Bike Trail. In addition, Geneva is home to the Kane County Cougars baseball team.
